Context Nine

Context Nine is a public system for keeping skills, instructions, access, code, machines, workflows, and operations legible to both people and coding agents.

The nine layers

1. Understanding establishes intent, systems, and constraints.
2. Secrets and Access binds identities, authorities, credentials, and capabilities.
3. Environments and Runtime makes machines, networks, clusters, and runtimes reproducible.
4. Agent Harnesses runs and coordinates agents across machines.
5. Context keeps instructions, knowledge, memory, and dependencies durable.
6. Capabilities packages skills, plugins, CLIs, APIs, and their dependencies.
7. Code keeps active codebases synchronized and recoverable.
8. Workflow Platforms turns the lower layers into repeatable delivery workflows.
9. Operations observes, triages, remediates, releases, rolls back, and recovers.

Start with the Context Vault

The Context Vault is the easiest way to understand the file-system and Markdown foundation. Its installation guide now lives in the Vault docs.

Components

Use the product grid on the Context Nine home page to open Notenv, Context Vault, the Skill Problem System, Code Folder Sync, Publisher, Incident Controller, Context Nine Platform, Delivery, and Cool Kid Tabs. The Context Nine Obsidian companion is installed and documented with the Vault. Platform and Delivery have public product descriptions, but their source repositories remain private.

The components are deliberately independent. Install only what solves a real problem, then connect more of the system as your fleet and agent workflows grow.
